"Itophome" expands demand and consumption of network appliances The Household N.. May 20, the CCTV broadcast a report on China's first state criteria on household network system in the program of Economic News. Reportedly, the Household Network Standards prepared by Haier led "Itophome"Alliance officially approved as industrial criteria will be issued in near future and the ceremony for "Itophome"Alliance industrialization was held in Beijing the same day. Professional analysts believed that, the Standards are prepared with domestic independent R&D facility as basis. Issue of the standards symbolizes network appliances will be more widely used by Chinese households. Haier Vice President Liang Haishan made an introduction to "Itophome" promotion strategy at the ceremony and announced Haier's decision to put Haier's 3rd generation network appliances into market. It is predicted that about 20,000 households in China will be consumers of Haier's 3rd generation network appliances. How Haier network appliances influences life of consumers? In early May, Haier installed network appliances for a household on Sanlihe Road, Beijing. The sensor installed on the roof adjusts the light brightness according to detected information of resident presence and ambient light. The resident can turn on the air conditioner or open the window curtain by sending a message through a palmtop. If a visitor comes while the resident is out, the access system can automatically shoot photos of the visitor and send messages to the resident. In general, the network appliances, including television, refrigerator and washing machine, in the household are under control of message instructions.
