Haier export profits in first half 2004 exceeds the total in 2003.
Staff: Haier has adhered to the globalization strategy, exporting products not only profits,but also for brand recognition. Haier export volume
has been doubled year-on-year as a result of increasingly enhanced recognition in the world marketplace. The Customs statistics show that Haier profits in first half of 2004 hit USD530 million, 107% increase versus 2003. Especially in 2 second-quarter months, the export profits exceeded USD1 million each, breaking the records of Chinese brand home appliance export profits per month. Of Haier export products, 65% are manufactured in Qingdao and 35% in the production factories outside Qingdao, such as Haier (Dalian) Industrial Complex.
Haier's business strategy, aiming to export products for brand worldwide recognition, has resulted in a significant progress in both domestic and overseas marketing and overcoming international trade barriers and, the most importantly, achieving explosively growth.
