Chinese and American experts working on digital technology development Haier staff report: On April 22, The 6th Seminar on Sino-American Engineering Technology was held in Haier Villas. Haier, as the leader of Digital Appliance Panel, was designated by the meeting decision to make a draft of China Network Appliance Communication Standards. 8 American experts from multinationals, such as IBM, Intel, and engineers of some domestic major household companies, attended the panel meeting and exchanged ideas on digital technology, household information network and R&D of CMOS chips. A proposal for strategic development was concluded and presented to the government with an aim to promote China's digital appliance industry.
