surprised by Haier's detergent-free washing machine
Visiting VPRO Journalist, Netherlands,
surprised by Haier's detergent-free washing machine
Staff report: Domestic and overseas show great concern about Haier being placed on the list of the World's 100 Most Recognizable Brands. On March 25, the 4-member delegation of Dutch TV Station VPRO, led by Nicola, visited Haier for a film entitled Flying Dragon. When the crew entered in Haier showroom, they were surprised while seeing Haier detergent-free washing machine. To prove the truth, Haier hostess showed them how to operate the new machine.
When Haier model manager was about to put a piece of slightly smutted white cloth into the machine, "No!No!No!", Nicola stopped him and took over the fabric. He splashed anything available, such as Coco Cola, peanut oil, soy sauce and orange juice, etc., to the cloth. Finally, he and other colleagues rubbed and stepped on the cloth.
Then, Nicola gave the really dirty cloth to the model manager and asked him to wash.
Nicola, and his colleagues, were surprised when they saw the same cloth showed by the model manager of Haier. The cloth was as white as it was before. Nicola got close to the washing machine, smelling. "It is true, no washing powder was used. But how?" More surprisingly, Nicola scooped up some water with two hands and tasked the water. "Very good", said Nicola, believing that no detergent was used.
