Fruitful Haier Corporate Culture December 1, the First (2002) Chinese Enterprise Culture Meeting, sponsored by China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and China Enterprise Directors Association (CEDA), was held in the Beijing Friendship Hotel. At the event, Haier corporate culture achievement was highly hailed and Haier was placed first for contributions to the development of Chinese enterprise culture. Gan Zhihe, vice secretary general of China State Economy and Trade Commission, and He Zhiyi, assistant chancellor of Guanghua School of Management, Beijing University commended the role of Haier corporate culture in promotion of company competitiveness. Vice secretary of CPC Haier Committee delivered a speech, captioned Competitiveness and Corporate Culture. Hai Er Ren, Haier's weekly newsletter, a documentary film, Haier Globalization, Haier Corporate Culture Manual and other publications were presented with awards.
