"Bring the Cream of Haier Back to Pakistan"¡ª Closing Ceremony of a T.. "Haier and higher!" ¨C Pakistani Haier employees who were attending a training program at Haier University, voiced their heartfelt wishes at the closing ceremony on February 4, 2002. Leaders of the Haier Group including CEO Zhang Ruimin and President Yang Mianmian attended the ceremony. After over a month's training on enterprise culture, product quality and technical skills at Haier University, the Haier employees from this South Asian country had obtained qualification certificates from the Haier Group. Furthermore, their propositions for Haier's local development together with two small inventions won innovation and invention diplomas from President Yang at the ceremony. The innovation and invention were all named after the inventors. The Pakistani Haier employees vowed to bring the cream of Haier culture back and let it root, flower and bear fruits locally, in order to build Haier into the No. 1 brand in South Asia.
