Taiwan Enterprisers Want Cooperation with Haier Haier Technology Center deputy director Du Guanglin made a working visit to Taiwan hi-tech enterprises recently. His visit was warmly welcome by Taiwan enterprisers, who spoke highly of Haier's great achievements in the world household appliance industry and expressed their surprise at Haier's rapid growth, which has been maintained at 80% on average over the last 16 years. An article which appeared in a Taiwan newspaper Alliance on November 8th, described Haier's achievements in the development of internationalization under the heading of "Mainland Businessmen Entered American Hi-tech Sector". Talking about current difficulties faced by some large Japanese and Taiwaness enterprises in their operations, Taiwan enterprisers felt it necessary to reconstruct the operational procedure of enterprises and believed that such a reconstruction is the only way for an enterprise to grow larger and more powerful. In this respect, they thought, Haier is a good example.
