Haier Praised as Extraordinary On August 25, the Japanese journal Diamond Weekly published an article entitled "Extraordinary Haier- Growing into the World's Sixth Biggest Household Appliance Manufacturer within 16 Years". The article said, the Haier Group, which has amazed Japanese enterprises by its rapid growth, has now become the world's sixth biggest household appliance manufacturer. The article continued, Haier has never participated in price wars among Chinese household appliance producers and in fact has followed a stable price policy. This is because Haier has its own management strategy and is confident in the quality of its products and comprehensive services. It is the first Chinese enterprise to gain a range of international quality accreditations. Its organizational structure and products have also been highly valued in America, the major importer of its products. Haier's refrigerators have constituted 20% of the American refrigerator market. Therefore, Haier's presence in America can not be slighted.
