"Household Appliance Export Expansion & Comprehensive Technical Innovation.. A few days ago, the National Technical Innovation Working Conference was held in Shenzhen. During the meeting, many outstanding technical innovation projects during the "Ninth Five-year Plan" were given commendation and Haier Group's "Household Appliance Export Expansion & Comprehensive Technical Innovation Project" was one of them. In order to build Haier into an international renown and meet the requirements of domestic and foreign consumers, Haier Group put forth and carried out the "Household Appliance Export Expansion Comprehensive Technical Innovation Project" during the "Ninth Five-year Plan" and conducted large-scale technical innovation for the original production lines. Through implementation of this project, the Group obtained an additional production capacity of 60 thousand new inverter air conditioners, 400 thousand new stirrer washing machines, and made freon-free transformation for 200 thousand freezers. Because of this, Haier's production scale for export-oriented household appliances was greatly strengthened and many internationally competitive products were developed, which satisfied the needs of consumers.
