Foreign newspaper reports on Haier Group Reference Paper reprinted the report of Haier Group published by French Liberation Paper on June 28, 2000. The topic was that China NO. 1 appliance enterprise entered into Europe. It reported the light advertisement in France and interviewed President Yang Mianmian of Haier Group. It spoke highly of the market share of Haier products in Europe. A French Expert believed that the quality of Haier product was very high. Haier would become a competitor. Singapore Joint Morning Paper reported on the building of Haier plants in USA on May 22, 2000. It quoted CEO Zhang Ruimin that if an enterprise just exported products to the foreign country, it could not become a world class enterprise. It believed that Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin was one of the most successful entrepreneurs in China.
