Twenty-eight High-tech Enterprises of Haier Group Enjoy Preferential Tax Policy Twenty-eight companies affiliated to Haier Group were recognized as high-tech industry enterprises recently, with a valid period of 3 years. Based on related regulations in Enterprise Income Tax Law of the People's Republic of China, the companies are permitted to enjoy the preferential tax policy by paying income tax at the rate of 15% during the valid period. Now, there are totally 125 enterprises that have been recognized as high-tech enterprises in Qingdao, and Haier Group, who has the largest number of high-tech enterprises, reveals its strength in terms of independent R & D, innovation, etc. It is said that an enterprise must own IPR, be able to make profit from high-tech products and possess the required competences such as outcome transformation, then it can be recognized as an high-tech enterprise.
