Chinese Vice Premier Reviews Implementation of the Policy of Haier's "Home.. Li Keqiang, the member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, makes an inspection of Haier's franchised store in Yaodian Town, Baota District of Yan'an city. On the afternoon of March 15, Li Keqiang, the member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, went to Yan'an city and made a work investigation. Li attached special importance to the implementation of "Home Appliances Promotion in Rural Areas", one of the benefiting-farmers policies of the government, in Yan'an old revolutionary area, and then made an inspection of Haier's franchised store in Yaodian Town, Baota District of the city. Zhou Yunjie, Senior Vice President of Haier Group, reported to Li how the policy of "Home Appliances Promotion in Rural Areas" had been promoted in this area, and introduced the product solutions that Haier had adopted to meet the demands of local customers. Considering the sandy weather in northwest areas which heavily stains clothes, Haier designed the washing machine with bigger water outlet; considering rats are everywhere in rural areas, Haier designed the special net for air conditioner, rear guard for refrigerator and the base for washing machine that can prevent the little rats even as small as 4 centimeters in length from getting in. Moreover, in hopes of enabling the farmers to enjoy the benefits of "Home Appliances Promotion in Rural Areas", Haier built up the selling network featured "selling products to villages", the logistics network featured "delivering products to the doorsteps" and the service network featured "offering services in users'homes". Vice Premier Li also amiably asked the sales of Haier products in Haier's franchised store in Yaodian Town after the policy of "Home Appliances Promotion in Rural Areas" had been implemented, and the boss of the franchised store gave answers to him. Then, Li came to the finance bureau of Yaodian Town and reviewed the subsidization of the products in line with the policy of "Home Appliances Promotion in Rural Areas", and guided the bureau to simplify the producure of subsidization. Li also visited homes of Haier customers to make investigations in person.
