ACFTU Vice Chairperson Inspects Haier Group ACFTU Vice Chairperson Xu Zhenhuan confirms the market innovation concept and praises the innovation mechanism of Haier Group. Xu Zhenhuan, Vice Chairperson, Vice Secretary of the Party Leading Group and Secretary of the Secretariat of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and his party made an inspection of Haier Group with the accompaniment of leaders from the Shandong provincial and Qingdao municipal authorities on November 22. They were met by Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin and President Yang Mianmian. In the sample exhibition hall of Haier Group, Xu showed his appreciation on a series of energy saving and environment-friendly products developed by the group based on consumers' needs, such as compressor-free refrigerator, detergent-free washing machine, etc. At the same time, he showed his confirmation with Haier's market innovation concept of the "Overseas market must be upgraded, domestic market intensified". Subsequently, Xu paid a visit to the workshop of Qingdao Air-Conditioning Department. Standing at the Employee Thoroughfare that was built for encouraging innovations, he listened attentively to the explanations and stopped and took a look at the board for providing information on workers' welding skill competitions and for posting reasonable suggestions. He nodded his commendations on Haier's innovation mechanism and the qualification-improvement platform for employees.
