Haier Enjoys Best Corporate Reputation among China's Home-grown Enterprises At the 12th International Conference on Corporate Reputation, Brand, Identity and Competitiveness held recently in Beijing, Haier was awarded the honor of Best Corporate Reputation among China's home-grown enterprises. According to informed sources, altogether 1,000 large enterprises throughout the world were included in the 2008 corporate reputation assessment by Reputation Institute (USA). Haier was ranked first in the participating 100 Chinese companies. Meanwhile, Haier was selected as the Best Performing Chinese Enterprise in 2007 by Global Entrepreneur Magazine. Co-organized by China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, "2008 Chinese Entrepreneur Day" event was held in Nanchang recently. Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin was awarded a commemorative badge for his contribution in the reform of China's enterprises.
