Haier, NVIDIA to Jointly Promote HD Displays Beijing, PRC, Jan 20, 2008-- Haier together with the world leading graphics chip maker NVIDIA held a press conference in Beijing on January 15,2008 and made an announcement that Haier & NVIDIA Digital High Definition Lab was formally established, which was the first cooperation project after Haier and NVIDIA established strategic cooperation relationship. It is said that although the word of High Definition is quite popular right now, it is difficult for computer display to use such technology especially in the playing process of HD Video. In order to provide good HD solutions for consumers to promote the popularization of HD computer displays, Haier and NVIDIA managed to cooperate with each other. NVIDIA the world leader in visual computing technologies and the inventor of the GPU, a high-performance processor which generates breathtaking, interactive graphics on workstations, personal computers, game consoles, and mobile devices.
