President of Venezuela hopes Haier could help Venezuela to build the industry o.. The Economic & Trading Cooperation & Negotiation Conference between Shandong Province & Venezuela was held in the capital city of Jinan on August 26. Han Yuqun, Vice Secretary of CPC Shandong Committee, and Hugo Frias Chavez, President of Venezuela were at present and delivered speeches. As the representative of the Shandong large-scale enterprises, Haier Group was invited to the Conference. Wu Kesong, vice chairman, introduced Haier brand's competitive power, its global results and the vision of Haier's cooperation with Venezuela to help Venezuelan government to build the local industry of household electrical appliances. After Wu's speech, Venezuelan president Chavez had a direct dialogue with Wu. Chavez asked about Haier's progress in Venezuelan household electrical appliance project and the issues that Haier needs Venezuelan government to provide support or solutions. Chavez showed appreciations to Haier's effort in promoting Venezuelan economy. Recently, Venezuelan Ambassador in China has been in touch with Haier Group and showed great confidence in co-work and the success of the project.
