Haier Group earned 1 billion USD through exports in the first half of this year
Haier Group has made great achievements in the implementing of the strategic vision of "global brand". It earned foreign exchange of 1 billion USD through exports in the first half of this year, up by 41.2% year-on-year.
Concerning sales distribution on region, thanks to our company's idea "Starting from the most difficult region to exploit international market", which has been proved a correct idea, and driven by the markets in Europe, America and other developed countries, the sales in Southeast Asia in the first half of this year increased by three times over the same period of the previous year. Concerning the export share by products, according to the data collected by China Customs, in Jan~May of 2006 Haier's export sales of refrigerator and freezer respectively accounts for 26.8% and 20.1%, these shares are higher than the runner-ups by 15% and 11% respectively. In the same period, for Haier's computer and TV set, the export sales and domestic sales have come to the same level; as for mobile phone, in Jan~Jun of 2006 Haier's export sales increased by 794.1% over the same period of 2005, which was greatly more than the domestic market of Haier's mobile phone.
