At the seminar, Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin announced Haier's 4th strategic stage of Global Brand Building and addressed two issues: first, why Haier launches the global brand building strategy; second, Haier has to experience the following 3 thresholds for implementation of the global brand building strategy. 1) from becoming qualified to entering final stage of global competition; 2) from gaining opportunistic profits to win-win profits; 3) from mono culture to multiple culture for sustainable development.
