The China's Global Band Product Award to Haier refrigerators and washing machin.. At the Commendation Ceremony for China's Famous and Global Brand Products held September 1, 2005 in Beijing, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People¡¯s Republic of China (AQSIQ) announced the first list of China's global brand products and Haier refrigerator and washing machine were in the row. The survey of China's Global Brand Products was conducted by the Promotion Committee of China's Brand Building Strategy with the authorization of AQSIQ with an aim to encourage domestic enterprises to take part in the competition of the world marketplace. Three products of two Chinese companies were finally placed on the list. AQSIQ also revealed the list of 2005 China's Famous Products and 7 Haier products, freezer, electric water heater, gas heater, range hood, sterilizer, laptop and screw chiller units, were included. Previously, Haier refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioner, color television, microwave oven, personnel computer, gas burner and CDMA/GSM mobile phones, were ranked among China's Famous Products. A total of 15 Haier products have been placed on the list of China¡¯s Famous Products so far.
