Haier ranked first of China's Top 10 Global Brands On August 30, 2005, result of a survey of China's Top 10 Global Brands was revealed on the Financial Times, and Haier was ranked first. The survey of China's Top 10 Global Brands was first jointly conducted by the Financial Times and Mckinsey Quarterly with a focus upon global business practice and influence. Subscribers of the Financial Times from more than 70 countries took part in the survey making the results authentic and realistic. The survey concentrated on indicators of quality, creditability, innovation, management and brand building.30 China's successful brands in global marketplace were covered by this survey. As a result of advantages in global brand building, Haier ranks first place.
