In S. Korea Haier is hailed by consumers. Haier's fast growth in sales of home air conditioners in S. Korea has attracted attention of JARN. An article published on the June edition of this magazine for global air conditioner industry said that, "Haier free-standing air conditioners have witnessed significant sales in S. Korea due to design differentiation and performance excellence satisfying the market demands." Reportedly, Haier air conditioners, noted for health benefits, energy efficiency and styled design, are increasingly appreciated by Korean consumers, and the sales of Haier aircon during April and June this year exceeded Haier¡¯s total sales in S. Korea in 2004.
