On June 17, the survey result of the 19th Chinese Electronics Company 100 was released and Haier was placed first in the row for an annual revenue of RMB101.6 billion, accounting for one eighth of RMB815.8 billion, total business revenue of the 100 companies. Zhou Zixue, head of the Department of Economic System Reform and Economic Operation with the Ministry of Information Industry (MII), made a brief introduction to the characteristics of the 100 companies and took Haier as an example of technological innovation, worldwide business promotion using global resources and company brand building strategy. Lou Qinjian, Vice Minister of Ministry of Information Industry, iterated that 19 surveys of China's Top 100 Electronic and IT Companies have been held and Haier's annual sales of RMB100 billion has broken the record.
