The 97th Chinese Export Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) was held on April 15, 2005. Haier Group exhibited 16 series of new products with over 200 specifications and models at the optimal place of brand exhibition area. The new symbol of Haier that appears at large exhibition of China for the first time as well as many value-added products attracted more attention and became shopping-rush goods.
The threshold to enter brand exhibition area became more critical and the exhibition area for Haier Group has been expanded.
To strengthen brand-exporting concept, the number of stands at brand exhibition area has been increased by 62%. However, the threshold for enterprises to enter brand exhibition area has become more critical. Thus the total number of stands increased while the number of the participating enterprises decreased.
The stand for Haier Group lies in the optimal place of the brand exhibition area and covers over 500 square meters, which is the largest in the history of the Canton fair. Value-added products with more than 200 specifications were exhibited, which displayed its competitiveness as an internationalized brand to customers both at home and abroad.
The standard of Canton Fair becomes higher, and Haier value-added products are much more welcome among customers.
Haier Group not only displayed its internationalized brand image but also offered many value-added products that won great attention from customers both at home and abroad, such as astronautics converter type side by side refrigerator with a price as high as RMB60, 000, washing machine without washing powder, "Sunlight lady" washing and drying combination machine, each new type of products shall make you feel refreshing. "Haier e home" networks household appliances that combine seven systems such as media entertainment system, household appliances control system and remote control system together, attract even more visitors to experience and consult. With "Haier e home", popcorn can be made in the microwave oven through remote control by mobile phone, and we are able to record the digital photos taken from mobile phone into DVD etc. During the fair, numerous customers both at home and abroad came to our stand to negotiate orders of these products.
The classification in household appliances became much more obvious, and the fame of Haier products has become even higher and better.
There are all-inclusive products at the household appliances exhibition area; however, the classification among them is obvious. Experts use four words to evaluate the goods: products, works, elaborate works and brand. Products mean to borrow ship from others to sail. In other words, you don't have your own brand and just work for others. Works means products with its own features but not elegant enough and not so competitive. Elaborate works means products with nice appearance and performance but without brand fame. Among the four levels, brand is the highest, especially the internationalized brand. Expert comments that the fair shall become more competitive if there are more "brand dealers"like Haier.
