News In Brief Within one month after Haier M-freezers, designed for American consumers and sold in Sears, were shipped, Haier got three additional orders from Sears for the same products. The quantity of these ordered appliances was the largest compared with the orders Haier had ever received for M-freezers. Haier HSW-50S1 washing machines were exported to and well soled in Korea in 2002. Additional orders have been placed by Korean business people for this new product.
