"Haier Well-off Special Train" Starts From Qingdao. On December 27, Haier Well-off Special Train started from Qingdao Railway Station. Officials of Qingdao Railway Administration and members of Haier Club attended the debut expedition. This special train is scheduled to travel 20,000 kilometers 20 days to 20 cities including Ji'nan, Xuzhou, Zhengzhou and Chengdu. The train carries Haier appliances and will stop one day in each city. Haier authorized distributors, Haier Club members and consumers will be invited to use and comment these products and present awards to appliance designers. "The CPC 16th Congress called on Chinese people to build China a well-off society. Haier should participate in the program. Purpose of this special train is to deliver satisfaction and surprises to local consumers and bring back demands of consumers," said Haier vice president Zhou Yunjie at the ceremony. This is the first special train approved by the Ministry of Railway for an enterprise. On the same day, Haier representatives and Haier authorized distributors in Qingdao area attended a fair on the train for Haier appliances.
