OBI-Haier International Seminar For Home Integration "OBI-Haier International Seminar For Home Integration" was held in Haier International Training Center on September 11. Huang Hai, director of the Trade and Market Bureau under the State Economic and Trade Commission, Nie Meisheng, president of the Housing Industrial Chamber under the National Business Association, Maus, chairman of OBI, Li Fengjiang, Ph.D and president of OBI (Asia), and Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin and President Yang Mianmian attended the meeting. "September 11 is a special day," started Mr. Maus in his speech. "One year ago, many Americans lost their homes in the 'September 11' attacks. The cooperation of OBI and Haier is to let more people have pleasant and cozy homes." Then, he made a brief introduction of OBI's development and internationalization progress. Following Mr. Maus, Haier president Yang Mianmian delivered a speech about Haier's home development strategy. Then, Dr. Li Fengjiang, President Nie Meisheng, chief architect with China Architectural Designing Institute Kai Yan, Dangdai Group president Zhang Lei and Tiantai Group president Wang Ruoxiong took the floor one after another. CEO Zhang pointed out in his speech that the cooperation between Haier and OBI is the right choice at the right time. What had brought the two sides together were their common culture and common pursuit of best customer services. Haier would provide "one-stop" home integration services to the customers, ranging from design, selection, supervision and after-sale services, and would strive to achieve the goal of "building intelligent homes for the customers". After the meeting, CEO Zhang Ruimin had a meeting with Mr. Maus for further business discussions.
