Haier Appliances Win Acclaim in Karachi Recently, an introductory workshop for Haier household appliances was held in Pakistan's central commercial city Karachi. A series of locally made individualized Haier products such as washing machines, refrigerators and air conditioners, were on display. According to the plan, there were about 260 dealer representatives to attend the meeting. But unexpectedly, there were more than 400 people taking part! A fault-picking activity was organized during the workshop in order to let the participants know better about Haier products. "Through this activity, we got a better idea about Haier's high-quality products; I dare say only Haier can let us dealers find faults with their products," said Mr Y, a dealer at the meeting. After the Haier (Pakistan) project going into operation, Haier household appliances set off a new sales upsurge in the country thanks to their localized design, production and sales.
