International Certification Continues in Haier Following the acquisition of international certificates of UL, FCC and FDA, Haier color TV obtained EU's CE certificate days ago. CE is an integrated certification for both product safety and electromagnetic compatibility. Products with CE certification can be sold in any of the EU countries. Recently, Haier air conditioner won the highest Saudi Arabian certification ¨C "SASO" certification. To date, five categories of Haier products including air conditioner, washing machine, color TV, refrigerator and freezer have won such certification. Not long ago, Haier microwave oven passed pre-certification radiation tests (radiation effects on humans) by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). An expert in charge of the certification, Mr J, expressed that FDA was duty bound to introduce Haier microwave ovens to the US consumers at an early date.
