Haier and Sanyo Conduct Technical Exchanges
A 43-member commission of the Sanyo Semiconductor Company, headed by the company's president Mr. Tadahiko Tanaka arrived at the Qingdao-based Haier Group, on April 3rd for two days' technical exchange with their counterparts in Haier, China's largest electronics maker. Coming along with the delegation were Sanyo's latest technologies such as digital TV, frequency inverter and organic EL display.
The Haier-Sanyo Technical Seminar was held in the Haier University in the afternoon of April 4. On the meeting, Tanaka and his people made a brief introduction to the Sanyo Semiconductor Company and outlined a proposal on strengthening the technical cooperation between Haier and Sanyo. Haier Group Chief Executive Zhang Ruimin, President Yang Mianmian and heads of staff, business and development departments, among other 70 people, attended the seminar and conducted interactive exchanges with their Sanyo guests. The seminar produced a package of cooperative initiatives.
