Haier Joins Hands with LG to Develop Digital TV On January 29, a "Haier-LG Comprehensive Technical Co-operation Agreement" was signed between Haier Color TV and the Korean LG in the Haier Central Building. Haier Color TV's market resources, network advantage as well as its fast response capability had won it the right for "dialogs" with international giants on an equal basis. "LG will provide Haier with the best digital television technologies in order to realize win-win development for both parties," a representative from the LG's TV division told reporters. It was reported that the digital television products for joint development by Haier and LG would include 100Hz rear-projection high-resolution TV, plasma TV and LCD TV, among others.
