Haier's Development Attracts Appreciation of Emerson CEO On December 4, Mr. David Farr, CEO of EMERSON ELECTRIC CO., one of the world top 500, visited Haier. Mr. Zhang Ruimin, CEO of the Haier Group, warmly welcomed the Emerson guests in Haier Headquarters. During a talk with Mr. Farr, Mr. Zhang Ruimin said, "Emerson is a world-famous company and there is so much advanced experience for Haier to learn from Emerson. I hope Emerson will supplier good parts and components to help Haier enhance competitiveness." Mr Farr hoped that regular mutual exchange should be made to accelerate the development of investment projects and Emerson would offer the best quality products and services. With the company of Mr. Liang Haishan, Haier vice-president, Mr. Farr visited the Exhibition Hall in the Haier Central Building and Haier Jiaozhou International Industrial Park. When visiting an Emerson factory under construction in Jiaozhou Haier International Industrial Park, Mr. Farr complimented Haier in Chinese:"Very fast! Haier is very fast!". The construction of the Emerson factory, which has a floor area of 21,000 square meters, started on 18 June and will be completed by the end of December, which is 2 month earlier than the date agreed in contract. Emerson is aiming to gain a win-win with Haier through investment and Mr. Farr is fully confident with Haier.
