World famous marketing expert Mr. Milton Kotler visits Haier American Trading Co
At 11:00am, November 26th US time, the world famous marketing expert Mr. Milton Kotler came and visited Haier American Trading Co.
Mr. Kotler has been longing for a field inspection of Haier American Trading Co since his meeting with Mr. Zhang Ruimin in Qingdao on August 25th this year. He came to the site 2 hours in advance.
Mr. Diao Yunfeng, manager of Haier American Trading Co, and Mr. Mike, president of Haier American Trading Co, briefed the guest on the development of Haier American Trading Co and sales of Haier products in the US. After learned that more than 20 Haier products are sold in famous US shopping centers such as Ames, Mr. Kotler exclaimed "incredible" repeatedly. "So many Haier goods are on sale in such high-grade US stores. Really incredible!" During his one-hour-odd visit in the company, Mr. Kotler's notebook was thickly dotted with signs and marks on the sales of Haier goods in the States. He also inquired in detail about Haier's star-rating service cars and 24-hour free calls.
Mr. Kotler used the word "wise" to praise Haier for its appointment of an American as the head of the Haier American Trading Co. "Haier has changed the attitude of Americans toward the Chinese," he said. "We used to think that Haier would appoint a Chinese as the president of the Haier American Co, since Korean and Japanese businesses always use their nationals for their overseas factories. Only Americans can use local people for their overseas firms. I never thought Haier would do so. This is real localization. No wonder Haier achieved such rapid development in the US!"
During his talks with Mr. Mike and others, Mr. Kotler mentioned the chief executive officer of Haier Mr. Zhang Ruimin several times. "Zhang sets a good example for Chinese enterprises when he urged innovations and reforms in enterprises. At the same time, he has caused the world to see Chinese enterprise in a new light through Haier's internationalization."
