Sanyo Motor's Strategy: To be Hand in Hand with Haier On November 13th, Sanyo Motor Co Ltd Business Strategy Department director Kida Setsuo visited the Haier Group for business co-operations. Mr Kida Setsuo revealed to Haier's CEO, Mr Zhang Ruimin the reason why the Sanyo Motor top management had frequently contacted the Haier Group. According to Kida Setsuo, Sanyo president Iue Bin has considered his company's cooperation with Haier to be a key corporate strategy. "After talking with Mr Zhang, Mr Iue Bin believed that Sanyo had the same vision as Haier in corporate strategy and management and the two companies also had many similarities. Haier is an ideal partner of Sanyo. At a forum recently held in Sanyo on a top management win-win partnership, Mr Iue Bin requested all the company's top managerial personnel to adopt a notion that Sanyo's cooperation with Haier was an unchangeable and overwhelming task", said the Sanyo's envoy.
