A Haier industrial park launched in Dalian A grand foundation-laying ceremony for the Haier-invested Dalian Haier Industrial Park was held in the Dalian Export Processing Zone on September 18. Vice chairman of the Board of Directors of Haier Group Wu Kesong, attended the ceremony. The first-phase Dalian Haier Industrial Park, covering 250,000 m2 of land, will serve as the production base for window-type air conditioners, mini freezers and parts. After completion of the project, the park will have a production capability for 2 million export-oriented freezers and air conditioners annually. So it will play an important role in quickening Haier's implementation of its internationalization strategy and realizing its goal of becoming one of the top 500 international business groups.
