Haier Gaining a Leading Position in White Household Appliance Industry Recently the Australian newspapers Herald Morning Post and Century published articles titled "Haier Gaining a Leading Position in the White Household Appliance Industry", which gave a detailed account of the Haier Group's history. The report said the Haier Group's success was in sharp contrast with other large Chinese state-owned enterprise struggling to survive. Just as the Australian looked down on the products of Japanese manufacture in the postwar period, many Chinese-made products are being haunted with the same plight. But Haier is an exception, which stands out with its excellent quality products, high reputation and good services. Other mass media, like the Korean Broadcasting Syndicate (KBS) and Singapore's Alliance Morning Post also published articles highlighting the Haier Group's achievements on its approach to internationalization.
