The second-phase "special icebox" starts construction On June 1st, another large refrigerator production base of Haier Group ¨C the second-phase "special refrigerator" project started construction in the Industrial Park of Haier Development Zone. The project, which covers 80,000 m2 of land, will be mainly used for the production of large refrigerators exporting to Europe, America and Middle East. This project is constructed due to the fact that there has been a greater demand than supply of Haier refrigerators in recent years. In the past 5 months, the production and sales of Haier refrigerators increased 50% over the previous year. Individualized orders demand speedy manufacture to meet the needs of consumers.
