Overseas market: "China Made" hardly seen, only Haier an exception
Recently, a program entitled "Chinese products are hardly seen on overseas markets" was broadcast in China's Central Television "China Financial Report", commenting that "Due to a lack of awareness of international product accreditation, Chinese products are hardly seen on the international market in spite of a sustained increase of exports in recent years".
Zhang Guofu, general manager of the Accreditation Agency Center under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said: "In recent years, only 50% of China's mechanical and electrical exports have been exported to the US, but most of the products are primarily processed ones. There are few name brands. Only a few enterprises are acknowledged by American consumers.
