China and US join hands¡ª¡ªSigning ceremony of joint venture between Haier Grou.. On May 30th, a signing ceremony of joint venture between Haier Group and American Sino Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd was held in the Central Building of Haier Group. Mr. Mahmoud Aziz, president of Seino Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier Group, Yang Mianmian, president of Haier Group and Vice President Zhou, attended the ceremony. Sino Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd is a US registered multinational enterprise group specializing in the development and management of biological, chemical and natural medicines and health foods, whose businesses cover 24 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. The aim of the joint venture is to build Haier Pharmaceutical into one of the largest enterprises in China for development and production of natural medicines and health foods. President Mahmoud said: "So far as we know Haier is an enterprise having the best operational system in China. And Sino is willing to share in Haier's advanced management concepts. We have confidence that the joint venture will be an internationally acknowledged famous pharmaceutical enterprise!" It is reported that the joint venture will bring the function of medicine developers in the US and Canada into full play to contribute to the development of medicine and health food market in China and around the world.
