Secretary Wu Guanzheng unveiled Nigeria Haier Co. On May 16, Wu Guanzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Political Bureau and CPC secretary of Shandong Province, attended the unveiling ceremony of Nigerian Haier Co in Nigeria. Mr. Liang Yinzhu, Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, spoke at the ceremony and unveiled the Sino-Nigerian joint venture with Secretary Wu. After that, Secretary Wu Guanzheng made an important speech. Nigeria Haier Co is a household appliance manufacturing enterprise jointly invested by Haier Group and a local company. The construction of the joint venture has been completed now and begun producing Haier refrigerators and iceboxes. During construction of Nigeria Haier Co, Haier Group provided technology and process, which revealed the strength of Haier Group. Mr.G.J.Roupas, CEO of the joint venture, Mr. Liang Yinzhu, Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Wang Chuntao, director of Shandong Office of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade, and Mr. Wu Kesong, vice chairman of board of directors of Haier Group attended the unveiling ceremony and visited the sampling room and the general assembly shop after the unveiling ceremony.
