CEO Zhang Gives Strategic Guidance in the 2015 Interactive Conference on the Innovation of Internet Models of Haier Group
On February 6, the 2015 Interactive Conference on the Innovation of Internet of “Focus on Amassing Users, Promote Two Platforms” was grandly held in the International Conference Center of the Haier Central Research Institute. During the conference, the “Three Gold Award” and the reporting performances of Maker Vitality Show were presented. Moreover, the two cases of “truck – based microenterprise” and “free cleaning” decided by online voting and offline screening finally appeared in the annual meeting stage of the groupand were shared with everyone stage amidst the applause to give strategic guidance. CEO Zhang pointed out that the development theme for the Group in 2015 is: Everyone Become a Maker, to Amass and Lead the Market. Everyone becomes a Maker is an essential condition for amassing and leading the market, and to amass and lead the market is the purpose for everyone to become a Maker. Under this development theme, the whole company should further change from a control and management organization to an investment platform, meanwhile, the employees should change from executors to entrepreneurs and Makers keep pace with the requirements of the times. Employees are no longer the “components” in the enterprise operations and the era of relying on advertisements to eliminate information asymmetry has also come to an end. In the Internet era, the best experience for users can be created only by changing the employees to Makers who can integrate with users. And from the perspective of the people – oriented enterprise mission, only with everyone becoming Makers, high user demand and remuneration can maximize the work autonomy in the context of information technology. Mr. Zhang stressed that the goal for Makers is to start their own businesses. And from the perspective of the Group, it should allow microenterprise to have full power to decide, hire and operate, making each microenterprise an independent enterprise that can face the market directly. And from the perspective of the employees, they should seek self – breakthroughs and fulfill their potential so that individuals who are originally as tiny as duets in the boundless universe can “make significant achievements”
After the elaborations on everyone becoming Makers, CEO Zhang gave strategic guidance on how to amass and lead the market, during which he emphasized that amassing the market first of all required for a qualitative breakthrough, especially breakthroughs in strategy and structure. Enterprises should achieve this through complementary user traffic and index technology. Second, what amassing the market creates is user traffic instead of the traditional sales volume. Enterprises should devote themselves to realize “large – scale, long – lasting and far –reaching” user traffic and have users with large traffic in the whole process frequently of index technology. Third, the target of amassing the market is to realize leading the market, which is a process from 0 to 1 rather than from 1 to N. Enterprises should pioneer a new way to become the “first winner”. Specifically, in order to realize amassing and leading the market, enterprises should apply the thinking of unclosed circle and decentralization to the two – dimensional lattice table and the people – goal –pay balance sheet respectively.
CEO Zhang indicated that by the third quarter of this year, all platforms must have showcases in which leading the market is realized. Although currently some microenterprises have realized sustained amassing the market, they haven’t realized sustained amassing of the market yet, not to mention the realization of leading the market. As for this, they should “regret their mistakes and make every effort not to recommit the same error”. Only by admitting their own mistake can they “be superior to their past” and achieve “real nobility” on the way of amassing and leading the market.
