Haier's global revenue in air conditioner sales grew 22 per cent year-on-year with profits up 26 per cent. Statistics from Chinaccm.com show that China's air conditioner output in the first 10 months of 2007 reached 59.2 million units, up 24.44 per cent year-on-year. China's annual output hit 60.039 million units, up 21.87 per cent. Included were 32.526 million units for export, up 22.14 per cent. China is the world's top air conditioner producer with production capacity accounting for more than 70 per cent of the world's total.
