Haier Wireless in the News: Zdnet.com, February 2008 US, Feb 3, 2008-- A slideshow of pictures on the site called "Trolling the CES booths" presents two of Haier's most innovative products: the ibiza Rhapsody wireless media player, and the dual SIM card cell phone. ibiza Rhapsody is lauded as a media player that can "play videos, show pictures, play stored music, and receive streams from Rhapsody," all through a wireless conneciton. The photo shows two units, in Midnight Black and Purple Sunset. ZDNet.com's reporters were also interested in a new Haier cell phone that contains two SIM cards and two standby modes. It's essentially two cell phones in one unit -- you can even hold two conversations at once. "In China, a lot of people have two cell phones, so this cuts down on the hardware you need to carry around," states ZDNet. "Also, you and a friend can synchronize your settings so that you speak on the same network and get free calls."
