New standards for new products,China ITopHome announced the establishment. Staff: The household network alliance, noted as ITopHome, proposed by Haier, was announced for establishment on July 26, being comprised of 7 corporations, including Qinghua Tongfang, China Netcom, SVA, Chunlan, Great-Wall and Shanghai Belling, with an aim to unify China's household network standards for improvement of home appliance industry. Household network is believed to be compulsory to household appliance industry. Standards are fundamentally necessary for design and manufacture of household network appliances. Haier has contributed to research of household network standards over the past 3 years. The 7 member of ITopHome involve the industries of electronics, home appliance, communication, PC and network service. Haier's approach in establishing a mechanism for household network standards has been widely acknowledged by professionals that what Haier is concerned about is not only the current, but also the future life of common consumers. The life quality of the people will be improved greatly if the household network standards are widely implemented in the manufacture process.
