Staff: The Wall Street Journal published an analytic article recently on implementation of Haier's marketing strategy in India
The article comments that, many Chinese home appliance companies failed to promote their products in India over the past few years as local consumers believed that low price implied poor quality and most Indians thought China was not a developed country in technology research and application. Haier is changing the concept of Indian consumers. Haier's goal is to make India its second largest market in coming 5 years. At present, China is Haier's largest market.
