Entry of Haier Products into Japan Draws Nationwide Attention The Japanese "Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun" reported recently that the entry of Haier household appliances into Japan has drawn nationwide attention. The products of the biggest Chinese household appliances giant will appear on the shelves of large marketplaces in Japan in early June. After joint promotion efforts of the Sanyo-Haier Co, Haier products will be sold in 20 Japanese retailing stores. A ceremony was held at the Osaka-based Sanyo-Haier Co on May 13th for the introduction of Haier products. It was the first time that the two household appliances giants joined hands, which had drawn extensive attention.
